What time is sunrise and sunset?
We are open sunrise to sunset year round, we ask that you vacate the property before sunset, daily.
How much are the gate fees?
Motorcycles- $5; Standard Vehicle-$5; Truck w/Trailer-$10 (Special Events excluded)
Can I save with a membership?
Yes, you can purchase a year long membership to Gibson Ranch; $49 vehicles, $74 truck and trailer
Is the park handicap accessible?
Yes!
Do you have barbecue grills?
Yes, at every picnic site!
Are bounce houses allowed?
Yes, with a permit but no water elements allowed. There is no electricity available, so don’t forget a generator. Gibson Ranch Park does have a limited number of generators available for rent!

Do you rent bounce houses?
No.
Are outside pony vendors allowed in the park?
We do not allow outside pony vendors in the park for private parties.
What days are the park open?
We are open 365 days a year, sunrise to sunset!
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We even have a dog park. Please keep your dog on a leash unless you are inside the dog park!
Are pinatas, confetti, or water balloons allowed?
No. Our animal residents are harmed by these items.
Can I reserve a site?
Yes, we recommend reservations, especially on weekends. If you absolutely want to be in a certain area, reserve it!
RV Camping allowed?
Yes! RV Camping is allowed year round. Dry only. $25 per night!
Tent Camping Allowed?
Yes, groups of 25 people or more; 4 people per campsite maximum. Groups must reserve campsites at least 48 hours prior to camping.
Cost: $15 per campsite, vehicle entry included.
Are ATVs or off-road vehicles allowed?
No.
Archery or paintball allowed in park?
No.
Drone flying allowed in park?
We are currently not allowing drone flying on the property due to insurance issues. Once we find a solution to the insurance question, we will lift the restriction. Please be patient while we work this out. Thank You
Do you offer trail rides?
Yes, we have a wrangler and 4 horses for use during our guided trail rides. Learn More.
Does it cost to walk in?
No way! We only charge a gate fee to vehicles entering park. Walkers, bikers, skateboarders, horseback riders, etc, are free-thirty!
Are photo sessions allowed?
Yes, you can. Check out Photographers’ Night if you are looking for the perfect sunset photo.
Is fishing allowed?
Yes, with a fishing license for 16 yrs & older.
I want to look around before deciding to stay, do I have to pay the gate fee?
If your vehicle passes the booth, you must pay the gate fee. However, it is free to walk in at any time!
Can I swim in the lake?
No.
Can I feed the animals?
Please, do not feed ANY animal on our property.
Can I donate animals to the park?
Sacramento County Code does not allow it. Please contact your local animal shelter.
